For some time now, I've been considering opening up my own handmade shop to bring in some extra money and to eventually be able to stay home with Sophia. The only problem is I can't decide exactly WHAT I should make. I absolutely do not want to do anything that has already been perfected and "taken" by someone else. I hear about copycats in the homemade community so often, and it's not even something that I want to be involved with. So I turn to y'all...what do YOU want that you feel is an untapped area? I'd prefer to stay in the baby girl market :)

  1. Gosh girl I don't know, if u think of something good .... Can I go in with u?!!!! :)

  2. I've been DYING to DIY something babygirl and sell for months.. but like you said all I can think of is headband and more headbands which are completely taken by more creative people than I haha

  3. I just discovered your blog, you're daughter is so beautiful!
I think creating something really depends on two things 1. what you are talented at 2. what you love! My husband & I ran a cookie business together before we got married, and I hated it because of the mundane-ness of it & I'm such a health nut! If you like painting, you could do unique nursery wall paintings or little tables & chairs. I'm more into sewing & like making little blankets, hats, burp clothes... Good luck!
