So long April, hello May!
Birthday month is finally here, and we could not be more excited! We're going to spend a couple days in Austin around Johnny's birthday for Sophia's one year photos, birthday fun, and my sister's graduation from UT Austin! And my aunt is visiting from Hong Kong. She'll finally get to meet Sophia.
I know I say this every time, but Sophia has changed so much lately.
She has finally grown an attachment to a toy. She has a stuffed giraffe (the one she's holding in the picture above) that she loves. Last night, Sophia was so grumpy before bedtime. The second she got a hold of her giraffe, she started to calm down. And of course, she held onto the giraffe with her chubby fingers all night.
Sophia has two bottom teeth. The top two have been "coming in" for about a month now, but still no sign of breaking through yet.
She's walking. Walking! She can take a couple steps alone. And she'll walk around the whole house if you hold her hand. Pretty soon she'll be running through the house. For now, she speed crawls. She squeals and laughs and crawls faster when she hears us running after her...especially when she heads towards the kitchen.
She's crazy. And talkative. And likes to be the center of attention. She's lucky she's cute, or else she would be annoying. Johnny said, "now you know how I feel about you." Ha. Ha. Ha. He's a comedian that one.
Oh and she loves kisses. She'll grab your face and kiss you.

She's so cute! And I love the bunting!
ReplyDeleteYay Sophia! Walking makes parenting 10 times more eventful than it already was, I swear it feels like Beckett has a new owie everyday! Like today he tripped and busted his lip on a chair :(
ReplyDeleteSweet Sophia is just getting more and more adorable! Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for her first birthday! :)
Oh my goodness, I thought crawling was bad haha!! There are days when I ask her if she can be a newborn again and just sleep all day!!!

Oh my heavens, Sophia is PERFECT! What a little doll!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that headband/flower she's wearing in the first picture! Where did you get it?
It's amazing how quickly the grow and change! My baby is 4 1/2 months old and she has this tiny baby that she LOVES! The girl lights up like crazy when she sees her "little baby" Doesn't she know that she's MY little baby and shouldn't be loving on baby toys yet? ha ha!
p.s. I want to follow you on insta but I can NOT figure out how to make it work on the computer! And I can't see your username, so what is it? Or find me at courtbrink so I can find you, ha ha!
ReplyDeleteCould she be any cuter!? What a doll! Time goes so fast with little ones! Our little guy is 10 months and I am trying to figure out how that even happened. Can't wait to see what else you guys are up to! Happy Thursday girl!
